Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 21, 2026

This policy explains what data RustBerry collects, why it's collected, and what we do with it. Short version: we collect the minimum needed to make the dashboard work, and we don't sell anything to anyone.

1. What we collect

When you sign in with Discord we receive your Discord ID, username, avatar and email. If you pair your Rust+ account we store an authentication token that lets us talk to Rust+ on your behalf. We also store the servers and players you add to track, your notification preferences, and your language choice.

2. Why we collect it

The data above is used to log you in, render your dashboard, send alarm notifications, and keep your preferences across devices. It's not used for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with the services required to deliver the product: Discord (authentication), Facepunch Rust+ (paired actions), Steam public API (profile pictures and display names), and Battlemetrics (server history for Pro users). We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers.

4. Cookies & storage

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and localStorage to remember your language picker choice and UI preferences. No third-party trackers, no analytics that fingerprint you across the web.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Server activity logs older than 14 days for free users (or 90 days for Pro) are deleted. You can request full deletion any time and we'll remove everything within 30 days.

6. Your rights

If you're in the EU/UK/Switzerland you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to processing. Write to us on Discord or via the contact email below and we'll handle it.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored encrypted at rest. We don't keep your Discord password — Discord handles that. If we ever detect a breach affecting your data, we'll let you know without delay.

8. Children

RustBerry isn't designed for children under 16. If you believe a minor under 16 has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

9. Changes & contact

We'll update this policy when our practices change. Material changes will be announced in the dashboard. Questions or data requests: reach out on our Discord.
